Tania is currently the UK Marketing Director for BSI. After joining the organization as Head of Client Propositions in April 2017, her impact was felt immediately as an expert in enabling her team to function at maximum efficiency by embedding her ‘making people great is the key to great business’ mantra. She was promoted twice and is a member of the UK Executive.
Prior to BSI, Tania worked at GSMA (Global System for Mobile Communications), a trade body that represents the interests of mobile network operators and Government legislation on the use of mobile communication worldwide.
Here, Tania worked as Head of Event Advocacy for 13 months leading GSMA’s Global Ministerial programme at the Mobile World Congress, where she successfully led the relaunch of the programme and broke records with the number of delegates attending the event, which included heads of state, minsters and royalty. Additionally, at the United Nations Summit during Barack Obama last year in office, Tania led the International media hub for GSMA’s sponsorship and alignment to support the UN Global Sustainable Development Goals.
Tania’s career began at BT where she achieved six promotions and 16 prestigious awards during her 21-year career at the British multinational telecommunications organization. Not only did Tania triumphantly lead BT’s UK and global sector Marketing & Senior client engagement strategy, but she was also the driving force behind the organization’s sponsorship of the London 2012 Summer Olympics. This responsibility involved supporting brand ambassadors, Dame Kelly Holmes, Lord Coe amongst many other celebrity and sporting ambassadors.
As a leading expert in creating client marketing and people management strategies, Tania is passionate about supporting SMEs in Milton Keynes (where she has lived her whole life) to drive business growth in the local area.
